Almond Butter Date Balls

Full of healthy protein, fat and carbs these little bites provide the energy you need when you have a mid-day slump! They also work great as a post workout snack.

Or eat them just because!

I love to keep them frozen in my freezer for a handy snack…or for those yummy nice cream bowls!

The Essentials

1 1/4 – 1/2 cup rolled oats (gluten free if needed)

1 banana mashed

2 Tblsp Almond Butter 2 Tblsp Maple Syrup

2 Tblsp Unsweetened Coconut Flakes

2 Tblsp Chopped Dates

Dust of Cacoa Powder (optional)

How To

Mash banana in large bowl. Pour 1 cup oats in and let sit for 10 min. Add remaining ingredients and stir well. If the mixture still seems like too much liquid, add a 1/4 cup oats and stir well. Still seem like too much liquid? Add another 1/4 cup oats.

Once the mixture reaches a desired firmer consistency, roll into balls and place on wax lined baking pan. Refrigerate for 30 min or until firm.

Keep in fridge for a handy snack or put in freezer for a frozen treat!

Enjoy, xo
