Sliders have become increasingly popular these past few years, popping up on menus and in kitchens everywhere. They are cute and fun, but if you don’t eat beef or if you’re getting tired of burgers, you need an alternative. These easy salmon sliders fit the bill.

You can offer these as an appetizer or serve multiples per person for a meal. They also make a great tailgating party or game-day snack.

Salmon Sliders Recipe:

Salmon Seasoning Mix

  • 1 Tbsp. smoked paprika
  • 1 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • ¼ tsp. salt
  • ¼ tsp. pepper
  • 1 tsp. orange zest

Salmon Sliders

  • salmon seasoning
  • 8 small salmon fillets (slider size)
  • 1 pack of slider buns
  • 2 Tbsp of mayonnaise
  • ½ cup of fresh arugula

Preheat the broiler. Prepare the salmon seasoning by mixing the smoked paprika, brown sugar, salt, pepper, and orange zest in a medium-sized bowl.

Rub the seasoning on top of the salmon fillets, setting aside about 1/2 a teaspoon of seasoning for the sauce.

Place the rubbed salmon fillets on a large baking sheet. Broil the salmon for 10 minutes.

While the salmon broils, prepare the sauce by mixing the mayonnaise and the remainder of the salmon seasoning.

Once the salmon is done in the oven, let it cool for just a few minutes and remove the skin. Place one salmon fillet on each of the slider buns with the seasoned mayo. and top with arugula.
