Course: Appetizer, Dinner, Lunch, Quick & Easy
Servings: 8 sliders
Salmon Seasoning Mix
- 1 tbsp smoked paprika
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- ¼ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp pepper
- 1 tsp orange zest
Salmon Sliders
- 4 large salmon fillets, cut in half to make 8
- 1 pack slider buns
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- ½ cup fresh arugula
Preheat the broiler. Prepare the salmon seasoning by mixing the smoked paprika, brown sugar, salt, pepper, and orange zest in a medium-sized bowl.
Rub the seasoning on top of the salmon fillets, reserving about ½ tsp of seasoning to mix with the mayonnaise later.
Place the rubbed salmon fillets on a large baking sheet. Broil the salmon for 10 minutes.
While the salmon broils, prepare the sauce by mixing the mayonnaise and the remaining ½ tsp of the salmon seasoning.
Start getting the slider buns ready by spreading the sauce on them.
Once the salmon is done in the oven, let it cool for just a few minutes and remove the skin. Place one salmon fillet on each of the slider buns with the seasoned mayo and top with arugula.
