Vegan Oat Milk

Learning how to make homemade vegan oat milk is quick and easy! There is no need to purchase store bought when you can make creamy and smooth dairy free, nut free milk in your own kitchen.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup old-fashioned roll oats
  • 6 cups cold filtered water
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract , optional
  • 2 Medjool dates , optional
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon , optional

Instructions

  • Remove pits from dates if using.
  • Add all ingredients to a high speed blender.
  • Blend for 30-60 seconds.
  • Using a strainer or cheesecloth, strain oat milk and discard pulp.
  • Store refrigerated in a covered container for up 2 weeks.

Notes

Water must be cold otherwise the oat milk will be slimy.
