Spiced Homemade Pita Chips

These homemade pita chips are perfect with your favorite dips during an afternoon snack! Great when you're craving for that savory snack!

Ingredients

  • 3-4 Pita Bread
  • 3 tbsp Olive Oil as needed
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1/2 tsp Red Chili Flakes Optional
  • 1 tsp Oregano
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 °F
  • In a small bowl, combine garlic powder, paprika, red chili flakes, oregano, salt and pepper
  • Set combined dry ingredients aside
  • Use a pizza cutter to cut your pitas in 6-8 equal triangles, cutting it like a pizza
  • Brush each pita chip with olive oil and sprinkle with the prepared seasoning mix
  • You can apply the oil and seasoning on one or both sides of the pita using a pastry brush
  • Place the spiced pita chips on an ungreased baking sheet
  • Bake for 8-10 minutes until oil is absorbed and baked chips are golden brown
  • Serve with your favorite dip and enjoy your pita pocket!
