Ingredients

  • 4 Tbsp. Butter
  • 10 oz Marshmallows
  • 6 cups Fruity Pebbles Cereal

Instructions

  • Grease a 9x13 baking dish and set aside.
  • In a large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
  • Once the butter is melted, add marshmallows to the pan and stir constantly until completely melted. Remove from heat.
  • Add cereal and mix well. Pour into the prepared pan.
  • Using the back of a greased spoon, press the mixture evenly into the pan.
  • Let cool and then cut into rectangles and enjoy!

Notes

  • Pre‑measure the butter, marshmallows, and cereal.
  • Use a parchment‑lined or well‑buttered baking dish so the bars don’t stick and lift out cleanly.
  • Melt the marshmallows carefully, as overheating will make these treats too firm and brittle.
  • Reserve some marshmallows to stir in at the end. 
  • Avoid over‑mixing the cereal to prevent the texture from becoming denser.
  • Press the mixture lightly into an even layer; don’t press too hard, or the bars will get tough.
  • For easy, neat slices, let the pan sit for at least 1 hour before cutting.

Storage Notes

  • Store leftover bars in an airtight container at room temperature for up to three days.
  • Refrigerate bars in the fridge for roughly a week
  • You can freeze these treats for up to 6 weeks (2 months) in a very airtight container.
