Ingredients

  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • 2 tsp organic vanilla
  • 1 pinch table salt
  • 14 oz organic sweetened condensed milk
  • 16 oz organic unsweetened coconut milk
  • 1 quart heavy cream
  • 3 oz chocolate chips
  • 4-5 cups Ice cubes
  • Rock salt

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, combine brown sugar, organic vanilla, and a pinch of salt. Mix until the ingredients are well combined
  • Gradually add organic sweetened condensed milk and heavy cream to the sugar mixture. Stir continuously to ensure a smooth and creamy texture. The sugar mix should largely dissolve.
  • Add organic unsweetened coconut milk and lactose-free skim milk to the mixture. Blend thoroughly to incorporate all ingredients.
  • Add ice cubes and rock salt to the ice compartment of the ice cream maker.
  • Pour the mixture into the machine.
  • Churn the mixture until it starts to freeze around the edges.
  • Gently stir in chocolate chips to add a delightful texture and flavor to the ice cream.
  • Allow the mixture to churn for a few more minutes.
  • Monitor the consistency, and stop churning when the ice cream starts to thicken and pull from the sides.
  • When ready to serve, scoop the homemade Chick-Fil-A ice cream into bowls or cones.
  • Transfer leftover ice cream to an airtight container and store in the freezer.

Notes

  • Store leftover ice cream in an airtight container in the freezer for future enjoyment.
  • If the ice cream is too hard, let it sit at room temperature for a few minutes before scooping for a creamier texture.
