These frozen kale cubes are the perfect way to add a nutritional boost and a pop of color to your morning smoothies with all the convenience!

Ingredients

  • 4 cups kale leaves, roughly chopped
  • 1 cup water (or liquid of choice)

Instructions

  • Remove the stems from the kale leaves. Wash and roughly chop the kale.
  • Add the kale and water to the blender.
  • Blend until all the leaves are puréed and the texture is smooth. You may need to scrape down the sides of your blender a few times to ensure all leaves are puréed.
  • After blending, if mixture looks separated (frothy on top, liquid on bottom), stir, then pour into ice cube trays and freeze until solid (1-2 hours).
  • Pop the cubes out of the ice cube trays and store in a freezer-safe bag or container.
