- 1 lb Carrots
- 3 tbsp Butter, unsalted
- 3 tbsp Brown Sugar
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp Parsley
- ΒΌ tsp Salt

- 3 tbsp Honey
Preheat oven to 425β.
Wash and peel carrots. Slice large carrots into 4 long pieces and smaller carrots into 2 small pieces. Make all pieces as evenly sliced as possible for even cooking.
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter. Add brown sugar, garlic powder, parsley, salt, and pepper, and mix well. Drizzle over the carrots and toss to evenly coat them.
Spread the carrots evenly in a single layer on a baking tray. Roast for 15 minutes.
Remove from the oven, flip the carrots, drizzle with honey, and bake for another 10-15 minutes. Keep an eye on them in these final minutes of cooking to avoid burning the honey.
- You can also leave the carrots whole for an easier prep and a pleasing display. Wash and peel them, then proceed with the recipe. You may need to bake them for a few minutes longer.
- The carrots are done when they can easily be pierced with a fork.
- Do not overcrowd the baking tray. If needed, spread the carrots onto two baking trays to allow the carrots to roast rather than steam.
