Printable Avocado Tacos Recipe Card

Simple, healthy, and endlessly customizable, these avocado tacos make taco night easy and fun for everyone.
Servings: 4 people

Ingredients

  • 1  lb  lean ground beef
  • 1  large  onion, diced
  • 2  cloves  garlic, minced
  • 2  tsp taco seasoning, homemade or store-bought
  • cup  water
  • 4 ripe Hass avocados, sliced in half with pits removed

Instructions

  • In a skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef with the diced onion and minced garlic. Drain the grease. Add in the taco seasoning and water.
  • Turn the heat to low and allow the meat to simmer in the seasonings for 10-15 minutes. If the mixture is too thick, add a bit more water as needed.
  • Slice the avocados in half and remove the pits. Fill the avocados with taco meat and then top with your favorite taco toppings!

Notes

For an easy homemade taco seasoning, combine these ingredients in a bowl, set aside 2 tsp for the recipe, and store the rest in an airtight container for future Taco Tuesdays!
