Preparation:
Wash turnip greens thoroughly, remove dirt, and separate stems from leaves. Cut leaves into small pieces.
Dice half a cup of onions and set aside. Cut up the garlic. Optionally, prepare ham hock or choose alternative meats like turkey slices, bacon, or chicken strips.
Cooking Process:
Heat oil in a pan, add onions and garlic, sauté. Add meat.
Once onions are translucent, add washed and cut turnip greens to the pressure cooker.
Pour in chicken broth and apple cider vinegar.
Add seasonings (salt, black pepper, and sugar). Adjust sugar to balance ham's saltiness.
Change cooker settings to manual and cook on high heat for 30 minutes.
After cooking, transfer to a serving dish. Garnish with additional black pepper if desired. Serve with pepper sauce and diced pieces of turkey.
